25 | The Days of the Messiah

The Parsha that will come

Parashat Ki Tebo, let's tell the truth, it's like a contract we made with God. He told us: "Keep the commandments, and you will receive a lot of good. If you don't keep them, you will feel the consequences."

Imagine you get a new house. The contract says, "Take good care of the house, and it will serve you faithfully. If you neglect it, it will rot." That's exactly what happens with our covenant.

The situation on the mountain, it was like a training camp. Everyone gathered, heard the rules and pledged to follow them. It was a defining moment, a moment when we said: "We are ready to take on the responsibility."

So what does this mean for us today? That each of us has to choose how we live. Every decision, big or small, affects us and our environment. And also, that we are all part of one big team.

And how do you do it in practice?

  • We talk about it: with friends, family, even ourselves.
  • Learners: read, ask questions, discover new things.
  • Actions: Trying to apply what we have learned in our lives.

Because in the end, it's all a matter of choice. We choose to be better, to be closer to God, to be part of something bigger.

What do you say? Are you ready to embark on this journey?

You can also play a little game: everyone thinks of one mitzvah they want to keep better this year.

What do you think about the idea?
